North of the River Municipal Water District was formed in 1969 to provide wholesale delivery of the State Water Project Supply to the community of Oildale.
Mission Statement
The mission of the North of the River Municipal Water District is to provide high-quality and reliable drinking water to our constituents at a reasonable cost.
NORMWD Board Meetings
Regular Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm. Special Meetings are called as needed.
Board packets are available by request in writing and can be obtained at the Oildale Mutual Water Company Office located at 2836 McCray Street.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
