Available Statewide Rebates
High Efficiency Washers (HEW) save water, energy and money for residential and commercial users. NORMWD customers for a limited time can save up to $200 in rebates off the purchase price of a qualified HEW.
California Cash4Appliances is offering cash rebates of up to $100
The State of California Cash4Appliances Program is offering cash rebates of up to $100, for the purchase of qualified HEW’s for a limited time, or as long as funds are available, presently $19 million, are expended. Anyone purchasing and installing a qualified washer within the State of California is eligible. Installing the washer, recycling the old machine, and mailing the completed rebate forms with supporting documents within 120 days of purchase is required. Application forms and qualification list of HEW’s are available at www.Cash4Appliances.ca.gov. Local appliance centers also have information and applications.Qualifying models must have a water Factor of 4.0 or less. A list of qualified models is available at the Cash4Appliances website.
Pacific Gas & Electric Co. is offering cash rebates of up to $50
Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) is offering cash rebates of up to $50 for qualified clothes washers until December 31, 2012. Anyone installing a washer within PG&E’s service area is eligible. After purchasing and installing qualified washers, you must apply for your rebate within 90 days of purchase. You can apply on line at www.pge.com/myhome/erebates. See this website for a list of qualified models. Local appliance centers also have information and applications. Clothes washers must be Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 3 models only (Tier 1&2 models do not qualify), have a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.2 or greater, and a Water Factor (WF) of 4.5 or less. Available Rebates for NORMWD Customers
NORMWD is offering cash rebates of up to $50 for the purchase and installation of qualified High Efficiency Washer’s Beginning September 1, 2011 until June 30, 2011, or as long as funds are available, for qualified washers installed within the District's service area. You must provide proof of a completed Cash4Appliances, or PG&E rebate and installation documents. Qualifying models must have a water Factor of 5.0 or less. All NORMWD rebates require original receipts (enclose a self-addressed envelope if you would like it returned), and are subject to verification of installation. Click the link for rebate form. NORMWD is offering cash rebates of up to $60 for the purchase and installation of qualified High Efficiency Toilets. Beginning September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011 NORMWD customers can provide proof of purchase of qualified HET toilets installed at account address' within the District's service area, to the NORMWD office and, as long as funds are available, receive a rebate of up to $60. High Efficiency Toilets are defined as fixtures that flush at a maximum of 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf), and the installation must replace an existing 3.5, or greater (gpf) toilet. These toilets can save up to 35 gallons of water per day. Please note all NORMWD rebates require original receipts (enclose a self addressed envelope if you would like it returned). NORMWD is offering cash rebates of up to $75 For the purchase and installation of qualified Smart Irrigation Controllers beginning September 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011 for customers of NORMWD only, who show proof of purchase and installation of qualified controllers at their account address within 30 days of purchase. Please note, all NORMWD rebates require original receipts (enclose a self-addressed envelope if you would like it returned). A list of qualified controllers is provided at the link below. Old controllers must be submitted to the NORMWD office for recycling.
